Youth Leadership Program

A fellowship of children and grandchildren of US armed service members of Teufelhund Veterans Group, aged 8-18 years old, coming together to support nonprofits, with the same mission statement of “Supporting Veterans, their families, and communities”.  Through this program participants develop learning and leadership experience through community service and local support.

Simultaneously, in connection with the Teufelhund Veterans Group “Youth Leadership Program”, the child could synergistically work toward their high school “Silver Cord Program”, wherein the purpose of the program is to promote volunteerism and to encourage students to take part in their community, students may earn a Silver Service Cord to be worn on their gown at graduation.

Guidelines for entry:

• Children of US armed service Teufelhund Veterans Group members, aged 8-18 years old, or end of Senior year of high school.
• A desire to assist and develop leadership, respect, community service, and local support.
• Participate and support Stars for Veterans.
• Community support – Parades and Veterans ceremonies.
• Fellowship of peers supporting family and community.
