The Hussarians take their name and spirit from the legendary Winged Hussars of military history — an elite cavalry whose courage, discipline, and loyalty made them one of the most feared and respected forces of their time. Known for their striking appearance and unwavering commitment to the mission at hand, the Winged Hussars stood as a symbol of strength and unity in battle.

At Teufelhund Veterans Group, the Hussarians represent that same spirit. They are the dedicated volunteers who stand beside us — civilians, veterans, families, and community members who carry the banner in support of our mission. Just as the Hussars rode in formation to protect and strengthen their comrades, the Hussarians strengthen Teufelhund by ensuring our outreach, events, and support efforts succeed.

Their colors of green and silver connect them directly to Teufelhund, while their emblem — the mounted warrior bearing the banner — honors the history that inspires their name. The Hussarians remind us that service takes many forms, and that our mission to support veterans extends beyond those who wear the patch, to all who choose to stand with us.
